Meet Our Director’s

Our directors are passionate followers of Christ, dedicated educators, and servant leaders committed to partnering with families. Our desire is to help cultivate an environment where students grow academically, develop strong biblical character, and are equipped to become the next generation of Christian leaders who impact their families, communities, and nation for God’s glory.

Founder of PACC

Jessica Mashburn

Hi, I’m Jessica. I have the privilege and honor of being your Pointing Arrows Christian Community (PACC) Director of our DFW community.

I’m thankful that you will be embarking on our journey as we, together, take up the mantle of leadership and education in our homes and point our children in the direction that they should go.

I am originally from Chicago, born and raised. My family and I have been in Texas for a little over three years and claimed Texas as our home before we even crossed state lines!

My degree is in criminal justice. Shortly after my college graduation, I had a date to be commissioned into the United States Marine Corps as an officer. However, God had other plans and He redirected my path. One year later I was married to my best friend.

My husband Mark and I have been married for over 14 years and we have children ages 13, 11, and nine. Together, we have been homeschooling for nine years.

I could not imagine our kids being educated any other way. We are blessed to have the opportunity to instill our values, core beliefs, culture and love for learning and community into our children.

Director of PACC NWI

Cheyenne Flohr

My name is Cheyenne Flohr, and I’m honored to serve as the Director of Pointing Arrows Christian Community in Northwest Indiana. It’s a joy to help lead a program that’s rooted in faith, built on intentional relationships, and designed to support families as they raise children in both truth and love.

I’ve known the founding family, Mark and Jessica Mashburn, for about seven years, and when they launched Pointing Arrows in 2024, I knew it was something I wanted to be part of. Their heart for raising children in their God-given identity and cultivating a love for learning deeply shaped the way I view education and motherhood.

My husband and I have been married for eight years and are raising two wonderful kids. Our 15-year-old thrives in public school, and our 4-year-old is beginning her homeschool journey—something I never thought I’d do, but now feel incredibly called to. For the past two years, I’ve been home full-time with our youngest, and it’s grown my desire to be the primary voice speaking into her life.

More than anything, I believe in what Pointing Arrows offers: a Christ-centered, family-focused learning environment where kids are known, parents are supported, and community is genuinely lived out. I’m so excited to walk alongside families as we grow together in faith, truth, and purpose.
